Kawasaki has unveiled the Z500 Sugomi Edition. The special-edition model based on the standard Z500 is available only in France, for now.
So what makes the Sugomi Edition special? To start with, it is available in two colour options- Candy Persimmon Red with Metallic Flat Spark Black mixed with Metallic Gray Matte Graphenesteel and Candy Lime Green, Metallic Spark Black with Metallic Gray Matte Graphenesteel. Both models come with exclusive graphics signifying the Sugomi Edition on the flyscreen and rear panels. Then, there are fluid-like graphics on the fenders and tank as well to add flair.
However, unlike the Z1000 Sugomi Edition which not only sported a different livery but also came with performance upgrades, the Z500 Sugomi is limited to aesthetics. It continues with the same parallel-twin engine, features and electronics as the standard model.
With no real changes to the motorcycle, Kawasaki is likely to push the Z500 Sugomi Edition in select markets only. Instead, it is expected to introduce new colour options for the motorcycle for 2025 globally.
