Updated Honda Rebel 1100 on the way for 2025?

  • New Honda Rebel 1100 in the works
  • Could be another touring-focused model
  • Expected launch at EICMA 2024

The data reveals that there will be five variants- CMX1100A, CMX1100A2, CMX1100D, CMX1100D2 and CMX1100D3. To begin with, all versions comply with Euro5+ standards and surprisingly, the CO2 levels are higher than the 2024 model. However, the hydrocarbon and nitrogen oxide outputs are lower. Besides that, the 1083cc, parallel-twin engine is listed at 87.2bhp; slightly over the 85.8bhp on the current model.

Now, the models with the ‘A’ represent the manual gearbox while the ‘D’ represents the DCT models. While most of the models are carried forward from 2024, the CMX1100D3 is a new version. Since the emission data shows an increase in weight, we can expect the new Honda Rebel 1100 model to be another touring-focused version. It could get a topbox and a differently-styled fairing perhaps?

Honda is expected to announce the updated Rebel 1100 range at the 2024 EICMA in November or the Intermot in December. That said, the motorcycles could arrive in Australia in New Zealand sometime in 2025.
