BRM Columnist and 2019 NZSBK Supersports Champion Avalon Biddle is on her way back to Australia for Round 4 of the Australian Superbike Championship, riding for Cube Racing on a Yamaha YZF-R6, alongside teammate Oli Bayliss (former World SBK Champion Troy Bayliss’ son). Morgan Park Raceway in Warwick, Queensland will host the fourth round of the Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK), where Avalon and Oli are confident of a strong weekend in the SuperSport 600 class in, what is, a home-round for the team.

Avalon will be riding a Cube Performance Centre prepared Yamaha YZF-R6

Avalon Biddle #51: “I’m really excited to race this weekend. The Bend was somewhat rushed, I went in without testing and had a lot to learn about the bike, the track, and the team. Heading into Morgan Park I’m a lot more comfortable. We had a solid test where I was able to learn the track and also had plenty of time on the bike to adjust it to suit my style. I’m confident of a strong result this weekend.”

Oli Bayliss #68: “We’ve managed to get a few laps in at Morgan Park lately, but so have a lot of the other supersport guys! We had a two-day test early last week and the team are really helping me to find ways to improve what I’m doing and what the bike is doing too. We make progress every time we get time on-track. I’m really looking forward to racing my home round this weekend, and I can’t wait to get on track and race in front of the huge crowd that always comes out to Morgan Park for ASBK.”

Team Owner, Ben Henry: “I personally can’t wait to get to the track this weekend! Oli and Avalon have made steps forward in testing and both riders are full of confidence heading into the weekend. Avalon continues to impress on-track and her down-to-earth nature makes her a great fit as well as an amazing role model for the sport. Oli’s motivated to have a strong weekend at Morgan Park. He knows the track better than any other in the season, and he’s been working hard to keep moving forward. Oli has tested well and I’m sure he’s going to be in the mix this weekend.”
