It’s looking like the last year we’ll see MotoGP at this iconic circuit. So you need to be there!

The team behind this year’s enormously successful Star Insure New Zealand Superbike Championship is giving Kiwi motorcycle fans the chance to experience what could become a true piece of motorsport history, launching an officially hosted tour package to the 2026 Australian MotoGP at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.

And there’s a major reason this year’s event is expected to attract huge interest — 2026 is set to be the final time MotoGP races at Phillip Island before the Australian Grand Prix moves to an Adelaide street circuit from 2027 onwards.

One of the standout inclusions is a Friday night dinner with former Grand Prix racer and current MotoGP chief steward Simon Crafar, giving tour guests direct access to one of New Zealand’s most respected figures in international motorcycle racing.

Hosted by NZSBK promoter Mike Marsden, the six-day tour runs from October 22–27 and has been designed as a hassle-free, fully organised experience for Kiwi fans wanting to tick Phillip Island off the bucket list properly.

The package includes return Air New Zealand flights from Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch, four nights at the 4.5-star Silverwater Resort in San Remo, one night in Melbourne, airport and circuit transfers, daily breakfasts, travel insurance and a three-day Island Pass to the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix.

There are options for upgrades, like hospitality or grandstand seating.

Fans can also upgrade their experience with premium grandstand seating options or full corporate hospitality packages overlooking some of Phillip Island’s most iconic corners, including Lukey Heights, Siberia and the Gardner Straight.

Phillip Island has long been regarded as one of the greatest circuits on the MotoGP calendar, famous for its high-speed flowing layout, unpredictable weather and spectacular ocean backdrop. The venue has become deeply embedded in Kiwi motorcycling culture thanks to its close proximity to New Zealand and the huge number of Kiwi fans who make the annual pilgrimage across the Tasman.

The fact this will likely be the final MotoGP event held there has only increased demand. Reports earlier this year confirmed MotoGP will leave Phillip Island after the 2026 event as the Australian round shifts to a new venue from 2027 onwards.

NZSBK says spots on the tour are limited, with pricing starting from $5,299 per person twin-share ex-Auckland.

The tour also supports the Superbike Pathways Foundation, which aims to help develop future Kiwi motorcycle racing talent.
