Royal Enfield’s upcoming Flying Flea S6 electric scrambler will not reach customers until summer 2027, pushing its expected arrival back by around six months. The updated timeline was confirmed at EICMA in Milan, where the motorcycle has returned to the show floor a year after its original unveiling.
When the S6 first appeared in November 2025, Royal Enfield indicated that it would launch towards the end of 2026. The latest announcement confirms two colour options for the production model: Dart Yellow and Lightning Grey. Beyond the new finishes, the latest prototypes appear largely unchanged from the versions displayed last year.

The S6 is the second motorcycle under Flying Flea, Royal Enfield’s electric ‘City+’ sub-brand, and shares its lightweight forged-aluminium construction with the C6. However, the two models take different approaches to their intended use. While the C6 features a girder fork, belt drive and cast wheels, the S6 gets conventional upside-down forks, chain final drive and wire-spoked wheels.
The scrambler uses a 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel, both fitted with dual-sport tyres. It also features a longer, enduro-style seat and additional suspension travel, with Royal Enfield positioning it for a wider range of surfaces, including cobbled streets, tram tracks, damaged roads and light trails.

Royal Enfield describes the S6’s performance as ‘sharp’ and ‘punchy’, but has yet to release power, torque or battery specifications. The C6 provides a useful indication of what to expect from the platform. It produces a peak output of 20bhp, with 11bhp available continuously, from a 3.91kWh battery. Weighing 124kg, it has a claimed range of around 97km and a top speed of 113km/h. The S6 is expected to deliver broadly similar performance, although its more rugged hardware could make it slightly heavier.
Technology is another shared feature, with the S6 using a round 3.5-inch touchscreen running Royal Enfield’s Fleaware.OS. The system incorporates navigation, voice assistance and smartphone connectivity, while a selection of riding modes includes an off-road setting exclusive to the S6.

The electronics package further includes traction control and lean-sensitive ABS, which can be switched off entirely at both wheels. These features should give the electric scrambler greater flexibility when moving between paved roads and loose surfaces. With its revised chassis components and more versatile wheel and tyre combination, the Flying Flea S6 takes the C6 platform in a more adventure-oriented direction. However, riders will have to wait until summer 2027 for the motorcycle to reach the market.
