Norton has revealed a one-off version of its Manx R as part of a new collaboration with lifestyle and motorsport company Peaceful Research. The custom motorcycle was showcased at the British MotoGP at Silverstone over the weekend, where it stood out with a unique new colour scheme.
The special Manx R features a striking combination of metallic pink and deep purple, replacing the standard colour options available for the motorcycle. The collaboration is intended to bring together Norton’s racing heritage and Peaceful Research’s contemporary design approach.

While the visual treatment is unique, there are no mechanical changes to the one-off motorcycle. It continues to use Norton’s 1,200cc V4 engine, which produces 206bhp at 11,500rpm and 130Nm of torque at 9,000rpm. The Manx R also features an all-new chassis, electronics package and bodywork.
The collaboration extends beyond the motorcycle itself, with Norton and Peaceful Research also introducing a limited-edition clothing collection. The range includes a hoodie, T-shirt and cap designed around the partnership.

Norton has not confirmed whether the one-off Manx R will eventually be offered for sale. That said, The Norton Manx R is also expected to go on sale in New Zealand alongside the Norton Atlas in the near future.
