Sena has introduced the PRISM 2 in the European market, a new 4K action camera developed specifically for motorcycle use. Its key feature is the ability to record conversations taking place over Sena’s Mesh Intercom system alongside the video, potentially making it a useful option for riders who regularly film group rides.
The camera records conversations between riders directly with the footage, with stereo audio also included in the recording. This means group-ride videos can capture the conversations taking place while riding, rather than requiring audio to be recorded separately and synchronised with the video during editing.

That could be particularly useful for motorcycle content creators, where combining riding footage with conversations between multiple riders can otherwise add another layer to the editing process. With PRISM 2, the audio and video can be captured together as part of the same recording.
Sena has previously offered ways for riders using compatible Insta360 cameras to record their own Sena intercom audio through Bluetooth. Recording conversations involving several riders over Mesh Intercom, however, required additional hardware in the form of a Sena MeshPort Red hub alongside a Mesh-equipped intercom. The PRISM 2 therefore builds on Sena’s existing approach while making the process more straightforward.

The camera also comes with a range of mounting equipment to give riders flexibility when positioning it on their motorcycle. The standard package includes two magnetic quick-release mounts, a handlebar mount, an extension pivot arm and both long and short adhesive mounts.
A thumb screw is also included, providing further options for adjusting the camera’s position depending on the motorcycle and riding setup. Sena supplies two rechargeable batteries with the PRISM 2, along with a dual-battery charger, completing the standard package. The PRISM 2 is currently being introduced in European markets, with Sena also having a presence in New Zealand, the camera expected to arrive there soon.
