Triumph Scrambler 400 to get more off-road focused model soon

  • Triumph Scrambler 400 XC incoming
  • Is more off-road focused
  • Could be launched soon

Triumph Motorcycles is set to launch a new, more off-road-focused version of the Scrambler 400, called the Scrambler 400 XC. The motorcycle has been spotted on test in production-ready form, revealing all details before its official unveiling.

It is clear by the images that the new Scrambler 400 XC will sit above the standard model, thanks to all the extra accessories and components it adorns. One of the standout features is the cross-spoke wheels that are of the tubeless type. While they continue to be 19/17-inch configuration, they would provide better off-road ability.

Then there are the bright new colours, revised engine guard and high-set fender and visor that is matched to the body colour. The test mule is seen in a yellow paint scheme featuring speed-block graphics that add a retro touch. That said, it will continue with the same 398cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that puts out 39.5bhp and 37.5Nm. It would also come with the same list of features- switchable ABS, traction control and a digital display. However, a standard quickshifter would be useful too.

The updates would most definitely raise the price of the Scrambler 400 XC by a few hundred dollars but still make it good value. We can expect the brand to launch the new Scrambler 400 XC in the next few months and see its arrival in Australia and New Zealand by the end of 2025
