Ducati is preparing a new Panigale V4 SP for the 2027 model year, with the track-focused version expected to sit between the standard Panigale V4 and the race-oriented Panigale V4 R in the company’s supersport line-up.
The upcoming model has now been confirmed through certification documents from the California Air Resources Board (CARB), which has certified the 2027 Panigale V4 SP. Ducati had previously certified the 1,103cc Panigale V4 range, with the SP appearing in a subsequent update.

The new Panigale V4 SP is expected to use the same 1,103cc engine as the standard Panigale V4. However, the SP name traditionally brings a range of upgrades aimed at improving performance on a racetrack, and the new model is expected to follow the same formula.
The previous-generation Panigale V4 SP and SP2 came with a substantial list of track-focused equipment. This included an STM-EVO SBK dry clutch, carbon-fibre wheels, adjustable billet-aluminium footpegs, upgraded Brembo brakes and a lightweight 520 chain. Ducati Data Analyzer+ was also included as standard.

Similar equipment is expected to feature on the new-generation Panigale V4 SP, although Ducati has not yet confirmed the exact specification.
More details about the 2027 Panigale V4 SP, including its specifications and pricing, are expected to be revealed during Ducati’s upcoming World Première series later this year.
