Royal Enfield 650 Twin Prices Released

We recently saw the live NZ unveiling of Royal Enfield’s new pair of 650 Twins, the Interceptor and the Continental GT, at the 2018 Ride Forever New Zealand Motorcycle Show. Now, we have official prices for the various trims for both bikes, ahead of the launch which is expected in February next year.

Both models will be available in three different colourways: Classic, Custom, and Chrome, with matching accessories and gear to suit each bike also available. After months of developing, refining and improving the initial design based on tens of thousands of kilometers of road and track testing on parts, aggregates and motorcycles, the production motorcycles are now rolling off the line and ready to be shipped across International markets in a phased manner as part of the marque’s global expansion programme.

New Zealand’s official pricing for the new Royal Enfield 650 Twins is as follows:

Interceptor 650:

Classic – $10,290 inc GST, Custom – $10,490 inc GST, Chrome – $10,790 inc GST

Continental GT 650:

Classic – $10,590 inc GST, Custom – $10,790 inc GST, Chrome – $10,990 inc GST

Commenting on the retail launch of the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650, Siddhartha Lal, CEO of Royal Enfield said, “We’ve been on an exciting journey over the last ten years, and believe that we are excellently poised to grow the mid-weight motorcycling segment globally. We have invested in our capabilities, and in building an ecosystem of pure motorcycling lifestyle through gear and apparel, rides and events and other new formats. The launch of the 650 Twin motorcycles adds many more miles to this journey, and is the perfect opportunity to further our ambition of growing the leisure motorcycling market across the world. Keeping these motorcycles accessible is a key objective for us to bring in new people to the Royal Enfield way of pure motorcycling lifestyle.”
