Moto Guzzi is preparing to celebrate its 105th anniversary in style, announcing the largest Moto Guzzi World Days (GMG) gathering in the brand’s history to mark the opening of its new factory and museum in Mandello del Lario, Italy.

The four-day event, running from September 3-6, will see tens of thousands of Moto Guzzi owners and enthusiasts descend on the company’s historic home on the shores of Lake Como. The celebrations will coincide with the official unveiling of a completely redeveloped manufacturing facility and a brand-new Moto Guzzi Museum.

The new factory and museum promise to be state-of-the-art

The milestone marks the beginning of a new era for the iconic Italian manufacturer, with production continuing on the same site where Moto Guzzi has built motorcycles since 1921, but now from a state-of-the-art facility designed to blend modern manufacturing with the company’s rich heritage.

Alongside the new production facility, visitors will be able to explore the new Moto Guzzi Museum, which promises to showcase more than a century of innovation, engineering and design. The expanded complex will also include a Motoplex store, café, workshop spaces and immersive visitor experiences, with free public access available throughout the event after online registration.

One of the highlights of the weekend will be the traditional Moto Guzzi parade on Saturday morning, with thousands of motorcycles expected to ride from Lecco to Mandello del Lario in what is likely to become one of the biggest gatherings of the marque ever seen.

Visitors will also be able to sample the latest Moto Guzzi models through free test rides, while live music, entertainment and a large street food area will keep the festival atmosphere going across all four days.

Moto Guzzi says the event is not only a celebration of its 105-year history, but also a statement of intent for the future, with the new facility designed to become a hub for innovation while preserving the heritage that has made the eagle badge one of motorcycling’s most recognisable names.

If you’re a Guzzi fan, you’ll want to be apart of this 4-day celebration!
