- Prices start at $30,000
- Unveiled at Milan Design Week
- Claimed 150km range
Brabus has partnered with French electric bike maker Dab Motors to launch a trio of futuristic machines, unveiled at Milan Design Week.
The lineup includes the DAB 1⍺ Brabus, Brabus Urban E, and the limited-run Brabus Urban E First Edition. This marks Brabus’s second foray into two wheels, following its earlier collaboration with KTM on high-end Super Duke-based models.

Starting with the Urban E, it’s positioned as the more accessible model in the range, offering a claimed top speed of around 120 kmph, an urban range of 93 miles (roughly 150 km), and a combined real-world range closer to 120 km. Charging takes between 3.5 and 4 hours. Output is rated at 10 bhp continuous, peaking at 35 bhp, with a substantial 475 Nm of torque at the wheel.
Dab claims the bike is heavily influenced by Brabus’s design and performance philosophy, with extensive use of carbon fibre and a focus on delivering a riding experience that feels both controlled and aggressive.

For those seeking exclusivity, the Urban E First Edition is limited to just 40 units, split across four colourways. Priced at €32,500 (approximately NZD $58,000–$60,000), it sits in the same price bracket as bikes like the Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak, though not in terms of outright performance or versatility.

At the entry point is the DAB 1⍺ Brabus, described as a gateway into the collaboration. Even so, it carries a €16,590 price tag (around NZD $30,000–$31,000). It produces around 30 bhp, matches the 120 kmph top speed, and offers up to 150 km of claimed range, with similar charging times to the Urban E.
On paper, the performance figures are adequate for urban use, but the pricing tells a different story. Strip away the premium materials, branding, and exclusivity, and these bikes don’t significantly advance the capabilities of electric motorcycles. For design-focused buyers and collectors, that may not matter, but for riders prioritising value or performance, this collaboration could be a harder sell.
