Benelli has expanded its Tornado Naked range with the new Tornado Naked Twin 700, unveiled at EICMA 2026 as the most powerful model in the family. The middleweight roadster gets a 698cc parallel-twin engine, a chassis developed specifically for the model and a comprehensive electronics package. It also brings several comfort features, including cruise control, heated grips and a heated seat.
The styling follows a muscular approach, with sharp bodywork, a compact rear section and a prominent 15.5-litre fuel tank. Angular extensions around the tank give the motorcycle a wider, more substantial appearance, while the front end gets a distinctive lighting arrangement featuring twin LED projectors and T-shaped daytime running lights. Benelli has integrated the front indicators into the handguards, while the rear indicators double as the brake and tail lights for a cleaner finish.

Power comes from a 698cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine derived from the TRK 702 adventure motorcycle. Benelli has revised the intake and exhaust systems, along with the electronic engine management, to suit the roadster’s sportier character. The 180-degree crankshaft engine produces a claimed 73bhp and 67Nm of torque.
Unlike the adventure model, the Tornado Naked Twin 700 gets a chassis developed specifically for its intended role. Suspension is handled by fully adjustable Marzocchi front forks, while the production version is expected to feature an aluminium swingarm. Brembo supplies the braking hardware, and the motorcycle has a claimed running weight of 195kg. Seat height stands at 805mm.

The electronics package includes ride-by-wire throttle control, three riding modes, adjustable traction control and switchable ABS. Cruise control adds some touring practicality, while heated grips and a heated seat should make longer rides more comfortable.
A five-inch colour TFT display handles instrumentation and connectivity, with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support alongside smartphone integration. With its combination of twin-cylinder performance, adjustable suspension and a generous equipment list, the Tornado Naked Twin 700 gives Benelli a new contender in the competitive middleweight naked segment.
