Updated Triumph Tiger 1200 spied testing!

  • Spotted with radar on both ends
  • Likely to get design tweaks
  • Could be showcased at 2026 EICMA

The updated Triumph Tiger 1200 has been spotted testing overseas, with fresh spy shots offering a clearer look at what’s coming for the brand’s flagship adventure motorcycle. The most noticeable update is the addition of both front and rear radar systems, a move that could unlock a new suite of advanced rider aids.

Up front, the Tiger 1200 appears to have received a subtle redesign, giving it a sharper and more aggressive stance. The revised front end features a single projector LED headlamp, with the front-facing radar unit mounted directly above it.

The current Tiger 1200 already uses a rear-facing radar for features such as blind spot detection and lane change assist. With the addition of a front radar, the updated model could now support more advanced systems, including adaptive cruise control and collision warning technology.

Beyond the electronics, the spy images suggest there are no major changes to the bike’s mechanical package. The updated Tiger 1200 is expected to continue with the same 1,160cc liquid-cooled inline-three engine, producing around 148bhp and 130Nm of torque.

Overall, the test bike appears close to production-ready. A launch is likely toward the end of 2026 or sometime in 2027, potentially alongside the updated Triumph Tiger 950.
