- Likely to get feature updates
- A new limited-edition model to be offered too
- Expected to come with a slight bump in power
A teaser on social media suggests BMW is preparing a new G310 RR model, though it’s still unclear if the bike will make its way to other markets such as Australia and New Zealand.
The move makes sense. BMW already sells the G310 GS adventure bike and the G310 R naked in multiple regions, including NZ and AUS, so a fully-faired RR slotting into the line-up feels like a natural progression. If the bike does launch, India is expected to get it first. The existing G310 RR sold there is a product of BMW’s partnership with TVS Motor, which also underpins the G310 R, G310 GS, and TVS Apache RR 310.

Visually and mechanically, any new G310 RR is likely to share the most with the TVS Apache RR 310, a compact, fully-faired sportbike that recently received an 11% power bump. The update pushed its figures to 37.4 bhp at 9,800 rpm and 21.3 lb ft at 7,900 rpm.
With BMW’s global line-up in mind, the arrival of a new G310 RR would fill a clear gap and give the brand a small capacity sportbike to match its GS and R siblings.
