Moto Morini Alltrhike 450: Budget-Friendly Italian Adventure Bike Arrives in NZ This October

  • Another model to join the small-capacity adventure segment, with the 450cc parallel twin looking familiar.
  • At $9,990 + ORC and featuring distinctive looks, it could be the surprise model in the category.
  • Features include: TFT dash, 21″/18″ wheels, 170kg dry weight, 847mm seat height.

Italian styling meets real-world ruggedness for under $10K.

Moto Morini has announced that its all-new lightweight adventure bike, the Alltrhike 450 (yeah, what a name…!), will arrive in New Zealand this October 2025, offering LAMS-approved performance, genuine off-road capability, and Italian flair — all for just $9,990 including GST (+ ORC).

This keenly priced twin-cylinder adventurer is another compelling choice for the burgeoning lightweight ADV market, promising a compelling option for learner riders, commuters, and weekend explorers alike.

Proven Power with Familiar Roots

Powering the Alltrhike 450 is a 450cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, producing 44 horsepower and 44 Nm of torque — a configuration strikingly similar to the one found in the hugely popular CFMOTO 450MT, which launched in New Zealand last year to strong reviews. Like the 450MT, the Moto Morini’s motor is designed for a broad spread of torque, making it ideal for both technical trails and highway stints.

Mated to a six-speed gearbox and featuring Bosch EFI, the Alltrhike’s powerplant is Euro 5+ compliant, and has been developed to deliver a smooth throttle response and strong fuel efficiency.

Built for Kiwi Conditions

The Alltrhike 450 is more than just affordable — it’s properly equipped for New Zealand’s mix of sealed and unsealed terrain. Spoked 21”/18” wheels, KYB adjustable suspension (210mm front, 190mm rear), and a 170kg dry weight all contribute to its genuine off-road credentials, while switchable dual-channel ABS combine to make it the most off-road capable model of the Moto Morini range. The styling is unique, although we could see a lot of younger riders keen to ride a model that stands out from the crowd while exuding an image of adventure toughness.

Other features include an 18-litre fuel tank that should see the Alltrhike good for long-range touring, while the 847mm seat height should make it accessible for a wide range of riders. The vertically stacked TFT dash looks good and comes with navigation-ready features along with USB and USB-C charging ports. There will be three colour options to choose from: Green, Black, and White.

Standard equipment also includes a centre stand, skid plate, and dual-purpose front mudguard,  kit often missing or optional on other bikes in this price range, which is another tick for the Moto Morini.

Real Adventure, Real Value

At just $9,990 including GST, the Moto Morini Alltrhike 450 looks to hit the mark for price-conscious Kiwis looking to get off the beaten track. With a 3-year factory warranty, robust build, and eye-catching Italian design, we’re looking forward to checking out the latest addition in the small-capacity adventure segment when they arrive towards the end of the year.

When and Where?

The Alltrhike 450 will land in Moto Morini dealerships across New Zealand in October 2025, with pre-orders opening soon. Interested riders can visit motomorini.co.nz or contact their local dealer for more info.
