New Kawasaki Z900: In Images

Kawasaki introduced the 2025 Z900 at last year’s EICMA and is slowly launching the motorcycle in international markets. With the outgoing model getting a massive discount in New Zealand recently, we can expect the 2025 model to debut here soon. Before it arrives, we bring you images of the new Z900 with all details.

Kawasaki has improved the Z900’s 948cc inline-four engine with new camshaft profiles, enhancing low-end torque and fuel economy. While the output remains unchanged at 123 hp and 97.4 Nm, the bike now complies with the latest emissions standards, making it cleaner and just as thrilling.

The 2025 model introduces a long-awaited ride-by-wire system, enabling modern features like cruise control and a bi-directional quickshifter. These updates significantly enhance daily usability and touring capabilities.

The Z900 now benefits from an IMU, unlocking advanced safety features such as cornering traction control and cornering ABS. This puts it on par with more premium motorcycles in terms of electronics.

The front brakes now feature radial-mounted callipers for improved response, while the rear gets revised pads and lines for more confident stopping power. Meanwhile, Dunlop Sportmax Q5A tires replace the older Roadsport 2s, offering better grip and performance in various conditions.

Despite the comprehensive updates, the new Z900 is expected to get only a small price hike over the previous model. It will take on the Triumph Street Triple R and Honda CB1000 Hornet SP.
