KTM has officially taken the wraps off the latest evolution of its Dakar-conquering rally machine—the 2026 KTM 450 Rally Replica. Built in strictly limited numbers, only 150 examples of this high-performance off-road weapon will be produced globally, making it a must-have for competitive rally riders and collectors alike.
Tailored for elite competitors in RallyGP, Rally2, and Malle Moto categories, the 2026 450 Rally Replica stays true to its DNA. It draws directly from KTM’s dominant Factory Rally machines—the same bikes that have triumphed at the Dakar Rally and across the world’s toughest rally raid events.
In a nod to Daniel Sanders’ victory at the 2024 Dakar Rally, KTM is also introducing an ultra-exclusive 450 Rally Replica Sanders Edition. Only five units of this special version will be built, each featuring unique components and memorabilia that celebrate the Red Bull Factory rider’s monumental win.
Powering the machine is KTM’s battle-tested 450cc fuel-injected SOHC engine, paired with a six-speed transmission and a hydraulically actuated clutch—technology refined through input from rally legends such as Toby Price, Kevin Benavides, and Sanders himself. The hand-welded chassis is crafted at KTM’s motorsport facility in Austria, using a blend of laser-cut and hydro-formed frame sections to deliver exceptional stability, energy absorption, and straight-line control across brutal rally stages.
The Rally Replica is equipped with high-end WP components, including 48mm closed-cartridge forks and a fully adjustable rear shock, fine-tuned for rally racing conditions. A Scotts steering damper and CNC-machined triple clamps with PHDS (Progressive Handlebar Damping System) offer enhanced rider feedback and precision control. Cooling is managed via twin radiators, and the rear end benefits from a die-cast aluminium swingarm for lightweight durability.
With a combined fuel capacity of nearly 35 liters spread across three tanks—two at the front and one in the rear—the 450 Rally Replica is ready to tackle the longest and harshest rally stages without missing a beat.
Purpose-built for extended stints in the saddle, the cockpit reflects over a decade of Dakar experience. Highlights include a carbon fibre navigation tower, KTM’s dedicated rally dashboard, and an aerodynamically optimized fairing designed to reduce wind resistance and rider fatigue. A high-output LED lighting system ensures visibility in pre-dawn starts and late-night finishes.
The limited-run Sanders Edition is a celebration of championship-level performance and individuality. Each bike features:
- Red Bull Factory Team graphics
- Individually numbered frame (001–005)
- Autographed start plate sticker and race jersey from Daniel Sanders
- Factory-spec wheels and Michelin rally tires, plus an additional road-legal wheelset
- Factory Hinson clutch cover, titanium footpegs, and premium carbon fiber components
- VIP invite to the 2025 KTM Europe Adventure Rally in Romania (August 25–29)
- Personal delivery, ride session with Sanders, and full Factory Team support
