HARLEY-DAVIDSON ANNOUNCES ROAD & SPORT MOTORCYCLES AS DEALER OF THE YEAR 2017
Harley-Davidson Australia & New Zealand has announced Road and Sport Motorcycles (NZ) as Dealer of the Year 2017. The Hamilton based dealership, owned and operated by Barry and Shelley Spoule were awarded the prestigious award in person at the Harley-Davidson National Dealer Meeting held in Canberra last week.
Alongside the dealer of the year, the Road to Retail Excellence winners were announced. The elite achievers were Gold Coast Harley-Davidson (last year’s DOTY winner), Geelong Harley-Davidson and Horsham Harley-Davidson.
The Dealer of the Year (DOTY) and elite achievers awards recognise the top performers in the Road to Excellence Program. Dealers are assessed against a strict criteria including:
- Customer satisfaction
- Business reporting
- Marketing and events
- Commitment to training
- Sales, services, parts and accessories, clothing performance to target
The ANZ Dealer of the Year receives a $20,000 contribution towards travel and accommodation to attend the global annual Harley-Davidson Dealer Meeting to be held in San Diego in 2018.
