Kawasaki has introduced new colour options for the more comfortable and accessible Z650 S for the 2027 model year in overseas markets. As is typical with Kawasaki’s annual updates, the motorcycle’s technical specifications remain unchanged.
The Z650 S will be available in three new colour combinations. The Pearl Blizzard White/Candy Lime Green is the most distinctive, combining white bodywork with a green chassis and front fender. The Candy Persimmon Red/Metallic Carbon Grey offers a more vibrant alternative, while the Ebony/Metallic Carbon Grey provides a more understated appearance.
Beyond the new colours, the key difference between the S and standard Z650 remains its more relaxed riding position. The footpegs have been repositioned to provide a more relaxed knee angle, while a new handlebar creates a more upright riding posture.

Kawasaki has also revised the seat to improve comfort. The front section is wider and thicker, while the pillion section has been recontoured with 20mm more width and 10mm greater padding depth. Riders can further customise the ergonomics with two optional seats: the Style seat for additional comfort and the Ergo-Fit seat, which lowers the seat height by 20mm to make it easier for shorter riders to reach the ground.
The Z650 S continues to use the same 649cc parallel-twin engine, known for its predictable power delivery and strong midrange performance. Kawasaki added traction control to the motorcycle last year, providing additional stability and safety across varying riding conditions. The equipment list also includes a 4.3-inch TFT colour display, which improves readability and offers Bluetooth smartphone connectivity. Through the Kawasaki Rideology app, riders can access notifications and ride statistics.
For those looking for a sportier riding experience, Kawasaki also offers a bi-directional quickshifter as an optional accessory, giving the Z650 S an additional performance-focused feature without altering its core mechanical package.
