- Five models receive new colours
- No changes to mechanicals
- Could be introduces in AUS and NZ soon
A week after revealing new paint schemes for five Z models and the Versys 1100 S and SE, Kawasaki has turned its attention to the mid-capacity Ninja range, introducing nine new colour options across five models for 2026.
Among the updates is the 636cc Ninja ZX-6R, the base machine for Kawasaki’s WorldSSP racing team. For 2026, it gains an all-new Metallic Matt Graphenesteel Gray/Metallic Spark Black/Lime Green livery, alongside a refreshed take on the iconic Lime Green design.
The ZX-6R’s four-cylinder engine sets it apart from the Ninja 650, which uses a parallel-twin of similar displacement. The Ninja 650 also gets two fresh colourways: Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray/Metallic Flat Spark Black and a classic Lime Green option.

Lower in the range, the Ninja 500 and its SE variant receive new palettes. The standard model will be offered in Metallic Flat Spark Black/Metallic Spark Black, while the SE will be available in Lime Green and a striking Metallic Matte Twilight Blue/Candy Persimmon Red.
At the entry-level end, the ZX-4RR joins the update with two fresh looks for 2026: Lime Green and Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray/Metallic Spark Black. While there is no word yet, Kawasaki is likely to introduce the 2026 models in Australia and New Zealand by early 2026.
