New Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 to arrive in September

  • Pre-bookings open
  • Based on Classic 350
  • Could be priced slightly higher

Royal Enfield recently unveiled the latest addition to the 350cc range, called the Goan Classic 350. The motorcycle is based on the Classic 350 platform but comes with a distinctive twist with its laid-back bobber styling.

Taking its name from the coastal Indian state of Goa, the Goan Classic joins the brand’s existing 350cc family, which includes the Bullet, Hunter, Classic, and Meteor. While its availability in Australia and New Zealand is yet to be confirmed, the bike has already generated significant buzz in other markets.

The Goan Classic is powered by the familiar 350cc engine shared across the range, producing 20.2 bhp at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. While mechanically similar to its siblings, the model brings several unique touches. It rides on tubeless wire-spoke wheels wrapped in Ceat tyres, and its wheelbase is 0.4 inches longer than that of the Classic 350. Suspension duties are handled by twin-tube rear shocks and a 41 mm front fork offering 130 mm of travel, though the fork remains non-adjustable.

A standout feature is its lower 750 mm seat height, more than 25 mm lower than the standard Classic 350, delivering a relaxed, bobber-style stance. Braking components mirror those of the Classic 350, with a 300 mm front disc paired with a two-piston floating caliper, and a 270 mm rear disc matched to a single-piston floating caliper.

In terms of aesthetics, Royal Enfield is offering the Goan Classic in four vibrant colourways: Purple Haze, Shack Black, Trip Teal, and Rave Red. Each hue complements the motorcycle’s retro-inspired design and laid-back personality.

Pre-orders for the Goan Classic 350 will open on a first-come, first-served basis via www.royalenfieldmotorcycles.co.nz with the first three customers across Australasia receiving exclusive invitations to attend the Australian launch in Melbourne. The bike will be available in three colour options for this market- Shack Black, Trip Teal, and Rave Red — and will come with a three-year unlimited kilometre warranty and three years of roadside assistance.

The first shipments of the Goan Classic 350 for pre-order customers are expected to begin arriving from September 2025.
