- Produced 212bhp and weighs just 176kg
- Race-spec electronics and features
- Only five units available
Provec Racing, a key force behind the Bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team, has unveiled an ultra-exclusive, track-focused superbike: the Bimota KB998 Rimini Elite. This new machine pushes performance even further than the standard KB998 Rimini, producing 212bhp- an increase of 15hp (around 7.5%). It also sheds 16.7kg, bringing the curb weight down to just 176kg, making it an even sharper, race-bred package.
High-end components are fitted throughout, including braking from Brembo, suspension from Showa, an exhaust system from Akrapovic, and tyres from Pirelli. The electronics suite, developed by Mectronik, includes a 2D telemetry system with track-optimised software, multiple engine maps, and advanced control over traction, ignition, and engine braking.

Development has been extensive, with input from test rider Xavi Forés and WorldSBK riders Alex Lowes and Axel Bassani. The bike has already proven its capability in competition, having raced at the final round of the ESBK Spanish Superbike Championship in Jerez, where Tito Rabat secured a podium finish in its debut outing.
Exclusivity is a major part of the package. The KB998 Rimini Elite is limited to just five units worldwide and is priced at €99,800 (excluding VAT), which converts to roughly NZD $180,000–$185,000 depending on exchange rates.

Buyers aren’t just getting a motorcycle, they’re getting an experience. Ownership includes an exclusive track event with the Bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team, offering the chance to ride alongside Lowes, Bassani, Forés, and Rabat. Additionally, owners receive direct technical support from the Provec-run team, along with VIP hospitality at WorldSBK rounds.
