Ducati To Launch New Model Collab with Bentley

Ducati appears to be collaborating with luxury car maker Bentley. Filing from the US California Air Resources Board (CARB) have potentially revealed the two new models.

The filings list a ‘Ducati Diavel For Bentley’ and a ‘Ducati Diavel For Bentley Mulliner’, with both models appearing alongside the standard Diavel and Diavel S in the same documentation.

The Mulliner name is particularly significant, as it is Bentley’s in-house bespoke division. The department is responsible for the company’s most exclusive and heavily personalised vehicles, with a history stretching back more than 100 years. Today, Mulliner sits at the top of Bentley’s range, producing one-off and limited-run models with additional levels of customisation and detailing.

Beyond the names, however, the CARB filings do not reveal what will distinguish the two motorcycles from the standard Diavel. The documents are focused on environmental compliance, emissions and climate-related information, leaving the design and technical details of the potential new models unknown.

Ducati Diavel V4

If Ducati does announce the motorcycles later this year, they would continue the company’s history of collaborations with car manufacturers. In 2013, Ducati worked with Mercedes’ high-performance subsidiary to create the Diavel Carbon AMG, with production limited to 743 units.

Ducati later turned to its sister company Lamborghini for another special edition, creating the Diavel 1260 Lamborghini, which was produced in just over 600 examples worldwide. That model was also the last limited-edition Diavel to use Ducati’s V-twin engine before the Diavel moved to the V4 platform in late 2022.

Interestingly, Ducati and Bentley have already collaborated on a Diavel V4. In 2023, the two companies unveiled the Diavel for Bentley during Art Basel week in Miami Beach. That motorcycle drew inspiration from Bentley’s Batur sports tourer, which itself was based on the Continental GT.

Ducati has not confirmed when the newly listed models will be officially revealed. However, with the company’s World Premiere events traditionally beginning ahead of EICMA, the two Diavel variants could potentially be unveiled in the coming months.
