2026 Triumph Daytona 660: In Images

Triumph is set to refine its middleweight sport offering with an updated Triumph Daytona 660 for 2026, focusing on sharper handling and improved rider engagement rather than a complete overhaul. Let’s have a look at the motorcycle and its details through this image gallery.

The headline upgrade comes in the form of a new adjustable front suspension from Showa. Unlike the previous model’s non-adjustable 41mm SFF-BP forks, the updated setup now allows riders to fine-tune both compression and rebound damping, while retaining the same 110mm of travel. At the rear, a Showa monoshock with preload adjustment and 130mm of travel continues unchanged.

Tyres have also been upgraded, with the previous Michelin Power 6s replaced by Metzeler Sportec M9RR rubber as standard, aimed at delivering improved grip and more confidence under spirited riding.

In terms of equipment, Triumph has added an up/down quickshifter as standard, enhancing both performance and day-to-day usability. A subtle styling refresh and new colour options, including Sapphire Black, Aluminium Silver/Sapphire Black, and Cosmic Yellow/Sapphire Black, round out the visual changes.

The bike continues to be powered by Triumph’s 660cc inline three-cylinder engine, producing a claimed 94bhp at 11,250rpm and 69Nm of torque at 8,250rpm. This same engine platform is now shared across the Triumph Trident 660 and Triumph Tiger Sport 660 for 2026, featuring three throttle bodies and an underslung three-into-one exhaust system.

Despite carrying the iconic Daytona name, the 660 remains focused on accessible, real-world sport riding. Triumph claims that 80% of peak torque is available across the rev range, supported by a ride-by-wire throttle, three riding modes, and now the addition of the standard quickshifter.

Pricing starts at $16,495, with the bike expected to be in NZ in the next couple of weeks, beginning with the LAMS variant.
