- Revealed with new Rosso Centenario livery
- To continue with Marc Marquez and Pecco Bagnaia
- No technical details announced
With the 2026 MotoGP season drawing closer, several teams have already revealed their new machinery ahead of the opening round at Buriram, Thailand. Aprilia has returned with an all-black livery, while the Prima Pramac Yamaha squad will race with a predominantly purple look this season. Ducati, meanwhile, has opted to lean into its heritage with the unveiling of the Desmosedici GP26.
Rather than introducing a radical new design, the Italian manufacturer has chosen a deep red livery dubbed “Rosso Centenario,” inspired by the colour of the Ducati 60, the first complete motorcycle produced by the brand and a key milestone in its manufacturing history.

The launch follows a dominant 2025 campaign for Ducati Lenovo, which secured the MotoGP triple crown for the third time in the team’s history. Ducati claimed 13 race victories during the season, lifting its all-time MotoGP win total to 99. The team also set a new record for the most points scored by a single rider in a season, with Marc Márquez amassing 545 points, while Ducati went on to claim its sixth consecutive constructors’ championship.
Marc Márquez and Francesco Bagnaia will once again line up aboard the Desmosedici GP26 for the 2026 season. Bagnaia enters the year looking to rebound after a difficult 2025, while Márquez arrives as the reigning premier class champion following his seventh MotoGP title. Between them, the pair have secured nine MotoGP world championships, seven for Márquez and two for Bagnaia.
Márquez will be aiming to extend his tally to an eighth premier class crown in 2026, which would move him clear of Valentino Rossi’s seven titles. He already holds 106 Grand Prix victories across all classes.
Ducati has not released any technical information about the Desmosedici GP26 beyond the updated livery. The first opportunity to see the new machine in action will come on February 3, when Márquez and Bagnaia take part in Ducati Lenovo’s first official test of the year at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia.
