- Ducati Monster to receive major update soon
- Would come with 890cc, V-twin engine
- Unveil likely at 2025 EICMA
Ducati has been spotted testing the next-generation Monster in Europe. The motorcycle features a host of updates like a new engine, styling and features.

The major change is the new 890cc, V-twin engine that would replace the 937cc, Testastretta engine. While the motor does not feature Ducati’s Desmodromic valve timing, it gets a conventional valve train with overhead camshafts. This engine is expected to churn out 120bhp and 93.3Nm.
In terms of styling, Ducati has gone back to the drawing board with an entirely redesigned bodywork. The tank shrouds are larger with what looks like a new composite sub-frame. It also gets a new exhaust system and bigger catalytic converter as well as new alloy wheel design.

While it is still too early to speculate, the next-gen Ducati Monster could be unveiled at the 2025 EICMA and launched globally next year.
