Triumph Street Triple 765 RS price reduced in New Zealand

  • Triumph Street Triple 765 RS now cheaper by $1,000
  • No changes to specs or features
  • Comes with a 765cc, inline-three engine

The Triumph Street Triple 765 RS is now slightly more affordable in New Zealand. The manufacturer recently announced a revision in pricing which now brings it down to $21,990 instead of the previous $22,990 sticker price.

That said, the motorcycle remains the same, and we are not complaining. It continues with its tried-and-tested 765cc, inline-three cylinder engine that churns out 128bhp at 12,000rpm and 80Nm at 9,500rpm. It is linked to a six-speed gearbox and a quickshifter as standard. The RS also benefits from higher-spec braking and suspension components. It gets Showa 41mm upside-down Big Piston Forks (BPF) at the front and a Ohlins STX40 piggyback reservoir monoshock for the rear. Meanwhile, braking hardware comprises twin 310mm floating discs with Brembo Stylema four-piston radial monobloc calipers at the front, and 220mm rear discs.

As for features and tech, the Street Triple 765 RS lists full-LED lighting, cornering ABS, lean-sensitive traction control system, linked braking system, wheelie control, and a bidirectional quickshifter. It also gets a lap timer, cruise control system, five-inch TFT display, Bluetooth module, and an additional ride mode (Road, Rain, Sport, Track, and Rider).

Triumph is offering the Street Triple RS version in three colour options – Silver Ice, Carnival Red, and Cosmic Yellow. Which one are you choosing?
