Christchurch’s Euromarque Motorsport Park will host round one of the 2026 Championship.
The Star Insure NZ Superbike Championship Series’ return to the popular South Island Circuit on January 31st – February 1st will be good news to competitors, fans and sponsors.
Series promoter Mike Marsden says it’s great to be heading back to Ruapuna in 2026 for the first leg of the South Island Series double header.
“I am very pleased to have now confirmed dates and tracks for the four-round 2026 championship series,” says Marsden. “It’s really important to set the calendar dates as early as possible for competitors so they can plan accordingly.
“I am especially pleased to have Ruapuna in the mix and look forward to tapping into the large Christchurch fan base and delivering a fantastic show both on and off the track.”
Round 2 will be the Burt Munro Challenge at Teretonga on February 7-8.
The two North Island rounds will be MotoFest at Hampton Downs on March 7-8 andMotoMania at Taupo on March 14-15.
