Honda has introduced a series of updates to the CBR600RR for 2027, including upgraded front brakes, a larger instrument display and revised aerodynamic styling. The supersport motorcycle retains its existing engine, which produces 119bhp at 14,250rpm and 62.9Nm of torque at 11,500rpm.
The braking system receives the most significant mechanical changes, with the CBR600RR now using radial-mount, four-piston Nissin front calipers borrowed from the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade. These replace the previous Tokico calipers but continue to work with the existing 310mm floating discs. Honda has also adopted the Fireblade’s ABS module, adding three braking modes to suit different riding conditions.

Standard mode prioritises stability, making it suitable for wet roads, while Track mode disables rear-wheel lift control for more focused circuit riding. Race mode allows more aggressive braking by switching off rear ABS entirely.
The instrument panel has also been upgraded, with a five-inch TFT display replacing the previous 4.2-inch screen. It provides lap-time information and a shift-up indicator, giving riders additional information during track sessions.
At the front, Honda has revised the aerodynamic design by incorporating the previously separate winglets beneath the headlights. The new internal spoiler creates a more integrated appearance, while Honda claims the changes maintain the existing level of downforce.
