Yamaha XSR900 gets new paint scheme!

  • Yamaha unveils new colour for XSR900
  • No changes to the 890cc, inline-three cylinder
  • Only available in Japan for now

The new colour is called the Ceramic Ivory edition that highlights a warm, sepia-toned paint scheme. It comes with grey on the front fender and fuel tank with the saddle in brown leather to complete the retro look. Well, the new colour on the XSR900 gets all the latest updates the motorcycle received. There is a new five-inch TFT screen with connectivity, two custom, user-adjustable modes along with the Sport, Street and Rain modes.

Yamaha XSR900

The 2025 XSR900 is fitted with a KYB monoshock that is fully adjustable. Powering the bikes is a an 890cc, inline-three cylinder motor that churns out 117bhp and 93Nm. However, the unit is now Euro 5+ compliant. The kerb weight section on the spec sheet reads 193kg while the seat height is an accessible 810mm. Braking duties are performed by a radially-mounted Brembo caliper at the front and a floating unit at the rear.

While the Ceramic Ivory edition is unlikely to make its way to Australia and New Zealand, we can expect Yamaha to launch the updated XSR900 here sometime this year.
