The KTM 390 Adventure got a massive update for 2025 with the Austrian manufacturer showcasing it for the first time at the 2024 EICMA. Now, a few months later, KTM has announced the pricing and availability of the motorcycle in New Zealand.
So, the new 390 Adventure has been priced at $11,999 and will be available in New Zealand from June 2025. Interestingly, it will be sold in limited numbers only. The new motorcycle has received a tremendous number of updates that make it off-road worthy. It now comes with a 21/17-inch tubeless spoke wheel combination unlike the 19/17-inch mix on the earlier model. It also comes with upgraded WP Apex upside-down forks for the front that offer 200mm of travel. This also offers compression and rebound adjustability. For the rear monoshock, there is 205mm of travel with preload and rebound adjustment. Braking is handled by a 320mm disc and 240mm disc at the rear.
That said, the new 390 Adventure is powered by a 398cc, single-cylinder motor that churns out 45.3bhp and 39Nm, which is a bump of 2.4bhp and 2Nm. It comes with a six-speed gearbox with slipper clutch and quick shifter. The feature list is quite extensive, too. The motorcycle boasts of cruise control, switchable cornering traction control, cornering ABS, off-road ABS and three ride modes- Street, Rain and Off-Road. It also gets a five-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity.
As for competition, it will go up against the Royal Enfield Himalayan and CFMoto 450 MT here.
