New Harley-Davidson Pan America ST unveiled

  • Based on the standard Pan America
  • Gets different components and smaller wheels
  • Could be launched in NZ by mid-2025

Harley-Davidson has unveiled the new Pan America ST for 2025. The motorcycle, as its name suggests, is based on the standard model although it comes with different wheels and components.

The biggest difference is the smaller, 17-inch cast aluminium wheels shod with Michelin Scorcher Sport rubber that replaces the 17/19-inch Michelin Scorcher Adventure tyres on the standard Pan America. In addition to this, Harley-Davidson has also altered the bike’s cycle parts with the ST coming with shorter travel springs at both ends. Along with the smaller wheels, the seat height has dropped a bit as well.

At the front, the Harley-Davidson Pan America ST rides on 47mm Showa BF forks and a Showa BF monoshock at the rear. Both ends offer electronically adjustable preload and manually adjustable rebound and compression damping. Braking duties are handled by Brembo Monobloc four-piston calipers with 320mm discs while the rear comes with a single-piston Brembo caliper and a 280mm disc.

The 1252cc Revolution Max V-twin remains unchanged from the off-road version and offers 149bhp and 123Nm. As for features, the motorcycle offers cornering ABS, cruise control, phone connectivity and a 6.8-inch TFT screen. However, the ride modes are slightly different. While the off-road Pan America gets Off-Road and Off-Road Plus ride modes too, the ST only comes with Road, Sport and Rain. It also gains a quickshifter as standard.
