Metzeler Australia and New Zealand are pleased to be running their annual ‘Grand Tour’ experience again in 2019, with the added bonus that it is open to the public this time!
With limited spots left, you’ll have to get in quick to secure your spot for the March dates, for a very special opportunity to ride some of the country’s most amazing roads around the Queenstown area.
Accommodation and meals are provided as part of the package, in either private or shared rooms. The bikes are fitted and kitted ready for the road and trails, obviously with the best of the Metzeler range of rubber. All you need to take is your own protective gear.
Set in the spectacular vista of Gibbston Valley, with amazing views of Lake Wakatipu and Mount Aspiring, riders won’t want to leave the simply beautiful location. Made famous by The Lord of the Rings movies, it truly is a breathtaking environment. The off-road ride takes place on an 11,000-acre high-country station located amongst the famous wine region of central Otago. Scenes include the beautiful Kawarau River and Gorge, vast wide open plains, and rugged mountain backdrops. Paradise for any avid adventure rider!
