The existence of a KTM electric Duke was known when the Austrian brand’s future plan was leaked a couple of years ago. Now, the e-motorcycle has been unofficially revealed through KTM’s stunt rider- Rok Bagaros through his social networks.

The upcoming Electric Duke will be KTM’s first-ever e-motorcycle, and its design is not far from the leaked image. It. Features the signature Duke design language with aggressive lines throughout its bodywork, somewhat similar to the current 390 Duke. However, it does look bolder and more futuristic. That said, the specs and details of the e-Duke are under wraps, but is expected to come with a 10kW motor that is paired to a 5.5kWh battery pack. These specs were discussed by KTM on its EV strategy. Other details like range, speed and features are yet to be known but it is evident that the focus is more on performance than efficiency.

Moreover, the prototype features a visible charging cable, suggesting that KTM will offer multiple charging options for convenience. The list of features that are also visible is an adjustable front suspension, a colour TFT screen and disc brakes on both ends.
With KTM only recently picking itself up from its financial challenges, we can expect the electric Duke to make its official debut by the end of the year. However, it is only expected to go on sale by 2026.
