The Fastest Accelerating Ducati Yet And It’s Not a Panigale

  • Diavel V4 RS: fastest-accelerating Ducati ever — 0–100 km/h in 2.52s
  • Multistrada V4 RS: Ducati’s sportiest touring bike yet, with MotoGP-derived electronics
  • Both produced in numbered series with carbon fibre, titanium, and RS-exclusive liveries

Ducati has taken the wraps off two of its most extreme production bikes yet, unveiling the new Diavel V4 RS and Multistrada V4 RS during the San Marino and Rimini Riviera Grand Prix at Misano. Fittingly, the bikes arrived in pit lane with factory MotoGP stars Marc Márquez and Pecco Bagnaia onboard, underscoring Ducati’s racing DNA.

Both machines are built in numbered series and powered by Ducati’s 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 – the same engine derived from MotoGP. Combined with lightweight materials such as carbon fibre and titanium, plus exclusive RS liveries, the duo represent the sharpest edge of their respective model families.

Diavel V4 RS: Ducati’s Fastest Accelerator

The Diavel has always been about brutal performance, but the new Diavel V4 RS takes it further than ever. With its dragster stance and 182hp V4, Ducati claims it is the fastest-accelerating production bike in the company’s history – hitting 0–100 km/h in just 2.52 seconds in the hands of Marc Márquez. Whether mere mortals will be able to do the same is yet to be seen, but the fact this now surpasses even Ducati’s superbikes in outright acceleration bragging rights is sure to make the new Diavel a hit.

Alongside its staggering acceleration, the RS version brings Öhlins suspension, forged wheels, Brembo brakes lifted from the Panigale, and a suite of rider aids to keep things under control. Carbon-fibre bodywork, an RS-specific single-seat tail, and a unique livery mark it out visually, while a special start-up animation greets the rider on key-on.

Multistrada V4 RS: The Sportiest Touring Ducati Ever

On the other side of the spectrum, the Multistrada V4 RS is billed as the sportiest touring bike Ducati has ever built. Also powered by the Desmosedici Stradale engine (tuned for 180hp), it features Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 suspension, a dry clutch, Akrapovič silencer, forged wheels, and weight-saving components including a titanium rear subframe and carbon-fibre details.

New for this model is Ducati’s Vehicle Observer System, an advanced electronics package derived from MotoGP that simulates input from 70 sensors to deliver razor-sharp safety and performance management. Despite its track-focused enhancements, the Multistrada V4 RS still promises comfort for long-distance riding, while wearing Ducati’s “4Ever Multistrada” four-year unlimited kilometre warranty.

Built for the Passionate

With these two new RS models, Ducati says the goal is clear: to create motorcycles that represent the pinnacle of performance, style, and exclusivity within their categories. Both bikes carry serial numbers and unique RS design touches, reinforcing their collector appeal as much as their performance credentials.

From the dragstrip-inspired Diavel V4 RS to the high-tech, hard-charging Multistrada V4 RS, Ducati’s latest creations highlight the brand’s uncompromising approach – and ensure the RS nameplate will become synonymous with pure Ducati passion.
