Special edition motorcycles often bring unique aesthetics rather than mechanical upgrades, and Suzuki’s 2026 Hayabusa Pearl Vigor Blue model is a perfect example of this trend.
The legendary sportbike, known for its speed and performance, recently saw a colour refresh. Alongside the new Metallic Matt Steel Green option, Suzuki also introduced a blacked-out version with titanium silver accents, and a silver variant featuring striking blue details.

The latest special edition Hayabusa maintains its core mechanical identity. It continues to be powered by the 1340cc inline four-cylinder engine, delivering approximately 187bhp at 9,700rpm and 110 lb-ft of torque at 7,000rpm. No changes have been made to the engine or other mechanical components.
What sets this model apart is its exclusive styling. The fuel tank now features a special edition emblem and a Suzuki decal, distinguishing it from other variants. Additionally, all models outside of Japan will come standard with a single-seat cowl, further enhancing its sleek, aggressive look.

In terms of electronics and rider aids, the special edition Hayabusa carries forward the features found on standard models. These include lean angle-sensitive electronics, selectable power and traction control modes, anti-wheelie settings, engine braking adjustments, along with cruise control, launch control, and a quickshifter, ensuring that riders enjoy the same top-tier performance and handling.
While details regarding the global launch and pricing remain under wraps, it’s unclear when or if the bike will arrive in New Zealand and Australia.
