Royal Enfield Unveils The New Bullet 650 at EICMA 2025

  • Based on same 650cc platform
  • Borrows cues from the Bullet 350
  • Likely to be launched in NZ and AUS soon

Royal Enfield has officially revealed the Bullet 650 at EICMA 2025, marking the latest evolution of one of motorcycling’s most storied nameplates. True to its heritage, the new model preserves the unmistakable old-school design that has defined the Bullet for over 90 years, while introducing modern engineering and twin-cylinder performance.

The Bullet 650 continues to embody the brand’s timeless aesthetic, featuring hand-painted pinstripes, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, winged tank badges, and the signature casquette headlamp with integrated tiger-eye pilot lamps. Its upright, commanding stance remains instantly recognisable, a tribute to the model’s enduring silhouette.

At its core, the new Bullet is powered by Royal Enfield’s proven 648 cc parallel-twin engine, the same smooth, torque-rich unit that drives the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. The motor comes mated to a six-speed gearbox and slipper clutch, ensuring refined power delivery and effortless rideability across varying conditions.

Underneath, the motorcycle features a steel tubular spine frame, complemented by Showa suspension, which delivers a balance between comfort and stability. The Bullet 650 rides on wire-spoke wheels fitted with tube-type tyres, maintaining its retro appeal while enhancing durability.

Royal Enfield will offer the Bullet 650 in two colours- Cannon Black and Battleship Blue, with European and North American sales of the black variant set to commence in 2026. While the company has yet to announce a launch timeline for Australia and New Zealand, the model is widely expected to join the brand’s 650 cc portfolio next year, positioned alongside the Interceptor, Continental GT, and Super Meteor.
