Royal Enfield posts strong June 2025 sales; exports lead the charge

  • Announces 22 per cent increase in YoY sales
  • Total of 89,540 motorcycles sold
  • Expected to launch new motorcycles by end of 2025

Royal Enfield’s momentum shows no signs of slowing, as the iconic Indian manufacturer reported a 22% year-on-year (YoY) sales increase for June 2025, driven significantly by a sharp rise in global exports.

According to the company’s latest figures, 89,540 motorcycles were sold worldwide last month. To put that into perspective, that’s more than Ducati’s entire global sales for all of 2024, which stood at 54,495 units. Royal Enfield is proving to be a dominant force in the global mid-capacity motorcycle market.

Unsurprisingly, the bulk of these sales came from India, Royal Enfield’s home turf. Of the total, 76,957 units were sold domestically—marking a 16.4% increase over the 66,117 units sold in June 2024.

However, it’s the export numbers that truly stand out. The company shipped 12,583 motorcycles overseas in June 2025, representing a significant increase from the 7,024 units exported in June 2024. That’s a staggering 79.14% increase, underlining Royal Enfield’s growing global appeal and market expansion efforts.

With new models continuously rolling out and international demand on the rise, Royal Enfield appears to be riding a high wave of success—both at home and abroad. We can also expect a slew of new launches, including the new Himalayan 750 and Him-E at the 2025 EICMA by the end of the year.
