The 2018 Ride Forever NZ Motorcycle Show kicks off bright and early this Saturday, promising to feature plenty of new and old bikes, in the biggest show to date. Big names like Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Triumph, Indian and BMW (just to name a few!) have all announced their participation, no doubt with all their new models on display for the public to fall in love with! It is shaping up to be an awesome event, held at Auckland’s ASB Showgrounds, in Greenlane.
With plenty of attractions for spectators, there is guaranteed to be something for everyone, ranging from the Ride ‘N Shine, to a Live Demo Area, a Swap Meet, and a Manufacturer Rideout Zone. Also, there will be an abundance of gear available for purchase, with all the new helmets, jackets, pants and gloves, not to mention branded bike bits!
Along with all the new bikes, there will be a huge range of special machines from yesteryear, from complete restorations to completely original bikes, from every period imaginable. All polished to perfection; if you can’t find something that makes you drool, you’re in the wrong place!
The Swap Meet in Hall 6 is a brand new feature for the show, with everyday folk parting with their collections of bits and pieces, unfinished projects, and memorabilia.
Tickets are available at the gate, $20 for Adults, $5 for Kids 5-13, and under 5’s are free. A family pass for two Adults and two Kids is $40. Remember, all the money raised goes back into the community!
Car parking is available in a few places – either at Alexandra Park, or off Campbell Cres, or at one of the many private parking area.
BRM will be in attendance again this year, right in the middle of the main hall, with our bikes on display, and merchandise available – come grab yourself a tee-shirt or a keyring to support your favourite motorcycling magazine!
