New Triumph Trident 660 Tribute Edition unveiled; NZ launch soon

  • Trident 660 Tribute Edition launch soon
  • Gets new features and colour for 2025
  • Retains the same 660cc engine

Triumph Motorcycles has introduced the 2025 Trident 660 Triple Tribute Edition for global markets. This edition comes with updates to its features and race-inspired cosmetics over the previous model.

The special edition features a new Sapphire Black paint job with Cobalt Blue and Diablo Red graphics. The colour scheme is inspired by the ‘Slippery Sam’ Triumph Trident that won the Isle of Man TT. It also comes with a ‘67’ race number, black flyscreen and an aluminium belly pan.

To top it off, the Tribute Edition also gets Diablo Red wheels. The special also gets a Sport mode in addition to the Road and Rain modes that alter throttle and traction control. Moreover, the bike also comes with Cornering ABS, Cornering Traction Control, and cruise control as standard.

What remains the same is the 660cc, inline-three cylinder engine that puts out 80.4bhp at 10,250rpm  and 64Nm at 6250rpm. The unit is Euro 5+ compliant and comes with a two-way quickshifter as standard. Suspension duties are completed by 41mm Showa SFF-BP USD forks and a preload-adjustable rear shock. Braking is done by Nissin two-piston calipers with 310mm discs. Other features include a full-colour TFT screen with connectivity for phone, navigation and music as well.

Triumph is offering over 30 accessories for the Trident Triple Tribute. This includes luggage, some tech upgrades, protection and other styling enhancements including heated grips and bar-end mirrors. While the pricing is not yet revealed, we can expect it to be announced closer to its launch date that is expected mid-2025.
