New Triumph Speed Triple 1200 incoming?

  • Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX teased
  • To get ergonomic changes
  • Unveil on 13 May 2025

Triumph Motorcycles has teased the launch of a new Speed Triple 1200, with the model to be called the RX, on its social networks. The newest addition to the range is expected to be more sporty than the RS and is scheduled for launch on 13 May.

The teaser video reveals a few details about the upcoming Triumph naked. With the fuel tank having the ‘RX’ logo- a variant the brand used in 2016 and 2015. It seems to have mixed elements from the standard model and the Daytona 675, like the clip-on handlebars instead of the single-piece unit on the other models in the range. Even the seat seems to be revised and comes with more slope towards the fuel tank, presumably for a more aggressive riding position.

These changes are similar to what we saw on the Triumph Street Triple 765 Moto 2 Edition. In addition to this, the Street Triple 1200 RX also gets a different exhaust canister, likely to be an Akrapovic titanium unit with a carbon fiber endcap that is now available as an accessory. More carbon fibre bits can also be seen which would add a premium touch and lessen the overall weight of the RX.
