New Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 update on the way?

  • Likely to get suspension upgrade
  • Could continue with the same 39bhp 450cc single-cylinder
  • Expected unveil in the next few weeks

Royal Enfield could be preparing its first new launch of 2026, with reports suggesting an updated version of the Guerrilla 450 may arrive sooner than expected.

Details about the upgrade remain limited, but reports indicate the revised model could feature changes to the suspension setup. One of the key updates may be a new rear suspension arrangement, along with the possible introduction of upside-down (USD) front forks, a move that would replace the bike’s current conventional telescopic fork design.

The report also suggests that cruise control could be introduced as a new feature on the updated model. As with most refreshes, the bike is also likely to receive new colour options to accompany the mechanical and equipment changes.

If the rumours prove accurate, the updated Guerrilla 450 could be revealed before the end of March, although official confirmation from Royal Enfield has yet to arrive.

The current Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is powered by a liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine producing 39bhp at 8,000rpm and 40Nm of torque at 5,500rpm. Braking is handled by a 310mm hydraulic disc with a two-piston calliper at the front, while the rear uses a 270mm disc paired with a single-piston calliper.

The potential update would also arrive during a significant year for Royal Enfield, as the company celebrates its 125th anniversary in 2026. The milestone is expected to coincide with several new model introductions, including motorcycles based on the brand’s much-anticipated 750cc platform.
