MotoFest 2026 Demo Rides: Honda Models You Can Test at Hampton Downs

  • MotoFest offers more value than ever in 2026, with the addition of bookable demo rides giving attendees the chance to properly test the latest motorcycles, not just view them on a stand.
  • Honda is one of five major brands supporting the new demo programme, bringing a diverse range of models that span adventure, sport, cruiser and classic segments.
  • Each demo ride features a guided 40-minute road loop, allowing riders to experience real-world performance, comfort and technology in real-world conditions.

Big changes are coming to MotoFest this year, and for riders, this is easily the most exciting one yet: demo bikes are now available to book.

Instead of tyre-kicking in the pits, attendees can secure a spot on a guided 40-minute ride on local roads, giving you a genuine chance to feel how a bike performs in the real world — braking, comfort, engine character and all.

Honda has stepped up with a broad spread of machines, covering adventure, sport, cruiser and classic segments. Here’s what’s on offer, and who each bike will suit best.

2026 Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin

Africa Twin

Honda’s flagship adventure machine needs little introduction. Designed for serious adventure riding but equally at home covering big distances on the road, the Africa Twin is powered by the latest version of Honda’s 1,084cc parallel twin, now delivering a useful bump in torque.

On the road, the long-travel suspension and 21/18-inch wheel combination soak up rough surfaces with ease, while the electronics suite — including riding modes and off-road settings — lets you tailor the bike to the conditions. The large TFT dash with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto rounds out a seriously polished adventure package.

Who Is An Africa Twin Rider?

Adventure riders, long-distance tourers, and anyone curious about stepping into the big-bore ADV world.

Transalp XL750

The Transalp name returned in 2023 and quickly reminded riders why it was missed. Sitting below the Africa Twin, the XL750 Transalp makes adventure riding more approachable without losing the spirit of the category.

Powered by a lively 755cc parallel twin shared with the Hornet, the Transalp delivers strong performance in a lighter, slimmer package. Adjustable riding modes, a modern TFT display and a claimed 92hp give it genuine versatility, whether you’re commuting, touring or heading off the beaten track.

Who Is A Transalp Rider?

Riders wanting adventure-bike capability in a more manageable size, or those upgrading from mid-capacity road bikes.

2025 Honda CBR650R E-Clutch

CBR650R E-Clutch

There’s something undeniably special about a mid-capacity four-cylinder sports bike, and the CBR650R blends that classic engine character with genuinely clever modern tech.

Honda’s E-Clutch system is the standout here, allowing clutchless starts and shifts while still retaining the clutch lever for low-speed control. The result is a bike that’s incredibly easy to ride but still rewarding when you push on. Smooth torque down low, a screaming top end, and the reassurance that you simply won’t stall it.

Who Is A CBR650R Rider?

Sporty road riders, returning riders, or anyone curious about Honda’s E-Clutch technology without going full automatic.

Honda Rebel CMX1100

CMX500 Rebel

The CMX500 Rebel proves that cruisers don’t have to be dull or intimidating. Honda’s take on the genre keeps things light, nimble and genuinely fun, especially on winding roads.

Powered by a smooth 471cc parallel twin and featuring a low, confidence-inspiring seat height, the Rebel is LAMS approved and exceptionally approachable. ABS brakes and a feather-light clutch pull make it ideal for newer riders, while the relaxed ergonomics suit anyone who prefers feet-forward comfort.

Who Is A CMX500 Rider?

New riders, shorter riders, or anyone curious about cruisers without wanting heavyweight bulk.
