- Limited to 100 units
- Based on the KTM 1390 Super Duke R
- Loaded to the brim with carbon fibre and electronics
KTM and Brabus have once again joined forces to create something both outrageous and opulent, the Brabus 1400 R Signature Edition, a hyper-exclusive evolution of the 1390 Super Duke R Evo that takes the notion of “factory special” into designer territory.
While it’s not quite as scarce as its predecessor, the Brabus 1300 R, of which only 50 units (25 per colour) were made, the new 1400 R remains seriously limited, with just 100 examples to be built worldwide. Exclusivity, after all, is part of the Brabus promise.
Beneath the lavish exterior lies KTM’s mighty 1390cc LC8 V-twin, producing an unchanged but still monstrous 187.4bhp and 106.9lb.ft of torque- around six per cent more than the 1300 R it replaces. The bike retains KTM’s WP Apex semi-active suspension and suite of ride modes, ensuring that beneath the couture surface sits one of the most dynamic naked bikes in existence.

Brabus has, however, tweaked the braking hardware, swapping out the standard Brembo Stylemas for Brembo’s latest Hypure four-piston monobloc callipers, promising even sharper feedback and fade resistance.
Styling, as ever with Brabus, is where the real transformation takes place. The 1400 R’s bodywork is a carbon-fibre sculpture, blending Brabus’s automotive “Widestar” design language with KTM’s aggressive Super Duke silhouette. Two finishes will be offered, “Black and Bold” and “Midnight Veil”, each drenched in stealthy hues that accentuate the copious use of carbon across the tank, side spoilers, belly pan, tail, front mudguard, and even the handlebars. The reworked front fascia now houses a redesigned LED headlight that amplifies its menacing stance, while new carbon wings and fairing contours lend the 1400 R an unmistakable, muscle-car-like attitude.

The three-spoke forged monoblock wheels evoke classic American muscle car aesthetics, chunky, minimal, and full of presence. They’re complemented by a host of signature Brabus details: embroidered leather and microfibre seat, underseat dual-pipe exhaust, carbon brake fluid caps, and bespoke badging across every surface that matters.
Buyers receive more than just raw performance; the included accessories read like a luxury wish list: a leather key cover, carbon-fibre key box, and even a CNC-machined Brabus tabletop emblem to display when the bike’s parked in the living room, as it inevitably will be.
