Indian Motorcycle has unveiled two new limited-edition touring bikes- the Challenger Elite and Pursuit Elite as part of its 2025 range. While the former has a limited production of 350 units, there will be just 250 units of the Pursuit Elite for global markets.
The brand has also revealed New Zealand pricing for the two motorcycles. The Indian Challenger Elite is priced at $60,995 while the Pursuit Elite comes in at $66,995. Powering the two models in the same PowerPlus 112 engine that does duty on the standard variants and the recently introduced 2025 Roadmaster and Chieftain. This V-twin motor churns out 126bhp and 181Nm of torque. Indian uses the revised version of the same in the King of Bagger racing series which it has won in 2022 and 2024.

Coming to the limited editions, the Challenger Elite is inspired by Gene “Alabama Flash” Walker- the man who set a land-speed record in 1920 on the Indian PowerPlus and was considered to be the “fastest man alive”. It comes with a red and white paint with Black Candy touches. Each unit also gets an individually numbered centre console with an image of Mr. Walker’s PowerPlus racer, along with PowerPlus 112 engine covers and ‘Elite’ badging.

On the other hand, the Pursuit Elite gets its inspiration from the 20,000 PowerPlus motorcycles Indian had produced for the US Army in 1916. The limited-edition touring motorcycle comes with a tri-tone paint with Black Candy and Black Forest Candy paint finishes. The similarities between the two include five-spoke machined wheels wrapped in Metzeler Cruisetec rubber. Both also get Pathfinder Adaptive LED headlights and three ride modes that can allow riders to customise throttle response.

Moreover, the Challenger Elite gets Flare Windshield that is adjustable, while the Indian Pursuit Elite gets an electronically adjustable unit. As for storage, the Challenger Elite allows for 68 litres of storage while the Pursuit Elite offers 140 litres. Then there is the inclusion of keyless ignition, cruise control and USB charging too. The Pursuit Elite also boasts of heated seats and heated grips.
