The new Lambretta G350 arrives in New Zealand from December 2025, combining classic steel-bodied styling with a powerful 330cc engine and modern tech.
If you’re anything like us, the name Lambretta evokes mental images of mods vs rockers, scooters adorned with banks of chrome mirrors, guys wearing parka coats and girls in mini skirts perched on the back. Well, it’s no longer the sixties, and there aren’t many mods around. But the Lambretta still exists, and it still attracts the cool kids by the looks of it. And if you’re one of those cool kids, then the arrival of the G350 could well be big news. And if you’re not cool, well, riding a Lambretta might just help with that…!

Yep, Lambretta fans have something big to celebrate, with NZ importer Europe Imports confirming that the long-awaited Lambretta G350 will officially arrive in New Zealand from mid-December 2025. The new model blends classic Italian scooter styling with modern performance and tech, making it the most powerful retro-inspired scooter currently available in the country.

True to Lambretta tradition, the G350 features the brand’s distinctive monocoque steel body — not just a stylistic throwback, but a structural design choice that gives the scooter its trademark rigidity, stability and unmistakable silhouette. It’s instantly recognisable as a Lambretta, yet far more advanced than any of its predecessors.

Under the bodywork sits a 330cc single-cylinder engine producing 19 kW at 7,500 rpm and 25.5 Nm of torque, giving the G350 enough punch for urban commuting and open-road riding alike. With ABS braking, liquid cooling and an automatic CVT, it’s a proper modern scooter beneath the retro curves.

Technology hasn’t been overlooked either. Riders get full LED lighting, a TFT backlit display, USB charging and ABS-equipped disc brakes front and rear. Premium Pirelli tubeless tyres round out a specification aimed at riders who want classic styling without sacrificing real-world usability.

Available in three colours and priced at $11,690, the G350 is expected to be one of the hottest scooter releases of the season. With Lambretta’s strong heritage and a growing Kiwi fan base, demand is likely to be high as shipments begin landing in dealerships ahead of summer.
