- Gets new colour options
- Now comes with E-Clutch system
- Likely to be launched in NZ soon
Honda has rolled out updates for the CB750 Hornet in global markets for 2026, bringing new paint options and the option of its latest E-Clutch technology.
The update focuses on added convenience rather than a full redesign. Buyers can now choose from several new colour schemes, including combinations such as Graphite Black with a red frame, Wolf Silver paired with Iridium Grey, Goldfinch Yellow with silver accents, and a Matt Jeans Blue option alongside Matt Ballistic Black. Beyond these fresh finishes, the CB750 Hornet’s sharp and aggressive styling remains unchanged.

The headline addition is Honda’s E-Clutch system, which allows riders to shift gears without using the clutch lever. Electronic actuators handle clutch engagement automatically, making stop-start traffic and slow riding easier. Riders can even come to a standstill while staying in gear. Importantly, the clutch lever remains functional, so riders can switch back to full manual control whenever they choose.

Mechanically, the CB750 Hornet carries over unchanged. Power comes from the same 755cc parallel-twin engine, producing 90.5bhp at 9,500rpm and 75Nm of torque at 7,250rpm. Suspension is handled by Showa, with SFF-BP upside-down forks at the front and a linked monoshock at the rear. Braking is provided by twin 296mm front discs and a single 240mm rear disc, supported by dual-channel ABS.
Standard equipment remains strong, with a five-inch colour TFT display offering Bluetooth connectivity and navigation. Rider aids include Honda Selectable Torque Control, an emergency stop signal, and four riding modes: Sport, Standard, Rain, and User.
