Ducati unveils ‘Collezione 100’ Anniversary motorcycle range

  • Every model gets a special edition
  • All are limited to 100 units each
  • Honours 100 years of the brand

Ducati has marked its centenary celebrations with the unveiling of the Collezione 100, a collection of ten limited-edition motorcycles revealed during the Italian MotoGP weekend at Mugello. Each model pays tribute to a significant motorcycle, racing success or milestone from the Bologna-based manufacturer’s rich history.

Every motorcycle in the collection will be limited to just 100 units worldwide. Alongside heritage-inspired liveries, each model receives unique upgrades, Centenary Bronze detailing, individually numbered plaques and matching apparel designed specifically for the anniversary range.

The collection made its public debut on Mugello’s main straight, accompanied by specially liveried Ducati Lenovo Team MotoGP machines carrying graphics inspired by the commemorative series.

Panigale V4 S 100 Honors Ducati’s Imola Triumph

Leading the collection is the Panigale V4 S 100, styled after the legendary 750 Imola Desmo that secured victory in the 1972 Imola 200 with Paul Smart and Bruno Spaggiari.

That win remains one of the most important moments in Ducati’s racing history, as the Italian manufacturer defeated the dominant MV Agusta machines of Giacomo Agostini on home soil. The success helped establish Ducati’s sporting reputation and laid the groundwork for iconic road-going V-twin models such as the 750 Super Sport.

Panigale V2 S 100 Pays Tribute to a Racing Classic

The Panigale V2 S 100 draws inspiration from Franco Uncini’s yellow-and-burgundy 750 Super Sport Desmo that competed in the 1975 Italian Championship.

The original motorcycle became closely associated with Ducati’s growing presence in production-based racing during the 1970s. For the anniversary edition, Ducati has equipped the bike with several exclusive upgrades, including the first dry clutch fitted to the new-generation V2 family. Additional features include billet handlebars, a steering damper, an open clutch cover and a mirror-delete track kit.

Streetfighter V4 S 100 Revives the Spirit of the Darmah

The Streetfighter V4 S 100 adopts styling inspired by the 1979 900 Sport Desmo Darmah, finished in a distinctive black-and-gold colour scheme.

Ducati views the original Darmah as an early precursor to the modern streetfighter concept, combining naked-bike aesthetics with serious performance long before the segment became mainstream. The anniversary model adds carbon-fibre components, a dry clutch and the same tiger-head graphics that appeared on the historic machine.

Monster 100 Celebrates an Icon

For the Monster 100, Ducati has looked to the 2008 Monster S4Rs Tricolore, one of the final and most celebrated versions of the original Monster generation.

Produced between 1993 and 2008, the first-generation Monster became one of Ducati’s defining motorcycles and played a crucial role in popularising the naked sportbike segment. The centenary version receives a dry clutch, Alcantara trim, a single-seat conversion kit and bronze-finished detailing.

XDiavel V4 100 Reflects Ducati’s American Racing Success

Ducati unveils ‘Collezione 100’ Anniversary

The XDiavel V4 100 pays homage to the famous “California Hot Rod” 750 Super Sport ridden by Cook Neilson to victory at Daytona in 1977.

That achievement marked the first time an Italian motorcycle had won a production-based race in the United States, helping Ducati strengthen its foothold in the American market. The anniversary model features a bespoke leather seat, machined handlebar centrepiece, dry clutch and collection-specific bronze accents.

Diavel V4 RS 100 Inspired by a Historic Race Replica

Ducati unveils ‘Collezione 100’ Anniversary

The Diavel V4 RS 100 takes design cues from the 900 Replica introduced following Ducati’s success at the 1978 Isle of Man TT.

The original model became Ducati’s first true road-going race replica and helped establish the red, white and green colour combinations that would later become synonymous with many of the company’s performance motorcycles. The anniversary version uses the high-performance Desmosedici Stradale-powered Diavel V4 RS as its foundation.

Four More Models Complete the Collection

The remaining motorcycles in the Collezione 100 celebrate some of the more distinctive chapters in Ducati’s history.

The Multistrada V4 RS 100 honours the 1979 Pantah, a motorcycle remembered for introducing Ducati’s trellis-style frame concept and belt-driven camshaft system.

The Scrambler 100 references the original US-market 250 Scrambler launched in 1962, while the Hypermotard V2 SP 100 commemorates the endurance-racing Ducati 860 that competed in the famous 24 Horas de Montjuïc.

Perhaps the most unconventional of the collection is the DesertX 100. Its inspiration comes from the unusual Pantah “Ice” motorcycles used for exhibition riding on frozen Alpine circuits during the early 1980s, creating one of the most distinctive visual themes in the range.

The Collezione 100 represents more than a collection of special-edition motorcycles. It serves as a curated timeline of Ducati’s evolution, celebrating landmark race victories, iconic production models and lesser-known chapters that helped shape the brand over the last century.

All ten motorcycles will be showcased at World Ducati Week in July before making a further appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed later this summer, giving enthusiasts an opportunity to see Ducati’s centenary collection up close.
