BSA has introduced two new colour options for the GoldStar 650 in overseas markets, adding a fresh visual touch to the modern classic motorcycle. Birmingham Blue and Brooklands Black, the new finishes draw inspiration from different aspects of the brand’s British heritage.
The Birmingham Blue version features a deep blue finish across the fuel tank, side panels and fenders. White stripes run along the edges of the tank and side panels, creating a contrasting look. The colour is a tribute to Birmingham City, reflecting the city where BSA has its roots.
Meanwhile, the Brooklands Black version takes a darker approach, combining black bodywork with chrome elements and gold-coloured stripes. The paint scheme celebrates BSA’s racing heritage and gives the GoldStar 650 a more distinctive appearance.
Apart from the new colour options, the motorcycle remains mechanically unchanged. It continues to use a 652cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 45bhp and 55Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a five-speed gearbox featuring an assist and slipper clutch.
Braking duties continue to be handled by disc brakes at both ends, with dual-channel ABS offered as standard. The GoldStar 650 remains positioned in the modern classic segment and competes with motorcycles such as the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650.
